Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt ( Exodus 12:13).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 07 of 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The signs of God’ – The blood shall be a sign
Over many decades and generation the blood has been used as a sign or for a covenant. When the blood of Jesus Christ was shed on the Cross, it was a sign. Moses and the children of Israel witnessed the sign that God had given them to to prevent the angel of death from visiting their first born as they put the blood of lamb as great signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.
‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt (Exodus 12:12-13).
You have brought Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, and with great terror (Jeremiah 32:21).
