“When I would have healed Israel, Then the iniquity of Ephraim was uncovered, And the wickedness of Samaria. For they have committed fraud; A thief comes in; A band of robbers takes spoil outside (Hosea 7:1).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 06 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord – The Healer’ – The effect of sins and iniquity.
The Bible explains on several times the effect of iniquity and sins. The world has continued to be a dwelling ground for iniquity and sins despite the Christ. Iniquity and sins have deleterious effect on humas as they invoke ten ager or judgment of God. The Tripartite man is the host for man’s sins. The human body and its tripartite nature still remains an enigma to our generation.
“When I would have healed Israel, Then the iniquity of Ephraim was uncovered, And the wickedness of Samaria. For they have committed fraud; A thief comes in; A band of robbers takes spoil outside (Hosea 7:1).
Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity (2 Timothy 2:19).
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven (James 5:14-15).
Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth (Jeremiah 33:6).
