Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 06 of 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – The name of Jesus Christ.
Jesus’ Aramaic name was Yeshua (or Yehoshua), meaning “Yahweh saves” or “Salvation”. The Jewish understands the importance of salvation. Jesus is the English translation of the name. The name of Jesus connotes authority and spiritual power.
And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb (Luke 2:21).
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11).
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it (John 14:13-14).
May you encounter the names of Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
