Day 05 of 31 days: ‘The blessing of the Lord’ – The blessing of Abraham

by James
I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed (Genesis 12:2-3).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 05 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The blessing of the Lord’ – The blessing of Abraham.
When the Lord, God of Heavens, called on Abraham to walk with Him, He promised him to make him great, that he would bless him and make him a blessing and also give him the Land. In today’s world such a blessing exceeded being a Billionaire. No doubt through the Bible we saw how He made him very rich: Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold (Genesis 13:2). This blessing was sealed upon a covenant.
I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed (Genesis 12:2-3).
“ I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God” (Genesis 17:6-8).
The redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ makes it possible for the believers to be heirs of the Abrahamic blessing.
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
Further Scriptures:
That the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:14).
