Day 05 of 30 days: ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob

Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father -the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God (Exodus 3:6).

Explanation:

Daily Meditation, day 05 of 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob

The Jewish people have learned over the years that one of the greatest covenant names of God is the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. God called Abraham and made covenant with him and blessed him and he was a blessing. Likewise He affirmed his promise through three generations and became the God Almighty to Isaac and Jacob by covenant. When God appeared to Moses to call him to save the Israelites from slavery He introduced Himself as the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob:

Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father -the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God (Exodus 3:6).

Go and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, “I have surely visited you and seen what is done to you in Egypt (Exodus 3:16).

And Joseph said to his brethren, “I am dying; but God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land to the land of which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob (Genesis 50:24).

And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Lord I was not known to them (Exodus 6:2).

May you encounter the names of Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.

May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.

May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
