When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless (Genesis 17:1).

Explanation:

Daily Meditation, day 04 of 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – El Shaddai (The God Almighty).

The Jewish people have learned over the years on the name of God as El Shaddai signifying total power and sovereignty. The name of God is evident in this as His power is limitless and mighty. The Almighty God rules over the Kingdom of darkness. This justifies the significance of His name. In our dispensation the name of Jesus Christ is a name that is a mighty name that the entire creation honours His name. The name of Lord the Almighty God came as He appeared to Abrahma at ninety-nine years.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless (Genesis 17:1).

Also God said to him: “I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body (Genesis 35:1).

And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Lord I was not known to them (Exodus 6:2).

May you encounter the names of Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.

May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.

May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
