Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 04 of 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Anointing of the Lord’– When the Holy Spirit come upon you.
In the course of this month we will be looking at the Anointing of the Lord and today we will be meditating on the scriptures relating to when the Spirit of the Lord is upon you. There is evidence of physical change when a man encounter the spirit of the Lord. Power is the made available.
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8).
And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all (Acts 4:33).
Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man (1 Samuel 10:6).
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are [j]oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18 -19).
Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region( Luke 4:14).
May you encounter the power of the Highest to make you supernatural in the name of Jesus Christ.
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
