Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 02 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ – Praise be to the Lord
Welcome to the month of October.
The God of heavens is a Great deliverer as He power over the devil and all his schemes. Throughout the scriptures we see the evidence of delivering the people of Israel by His powerful hands from the Taskmasters – the Egyptians and He delivered others from the hands of the wicked enemies. Elijah was confronted by prophets of Baal and they were disgraced by the God that answers by Fire.
And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites (Exodus 3:7-8).
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold (Psalm 18:2).
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
May the ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ be your God in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
