Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 02 of 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Anointing of the Lord’– The great power of God.
Welcome to the month of February.
In the course of this month we will be looking at the Anointing of the Lord, as well as the Anointing oil, and the Anointed one. The Anointing is the act of pouring or smearing oil on a person as a means of setting apart. In the old Testament the people that were anointed were the prophets, priests and Kings. In the new Testament, as God is within us as Christians
Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces (Exodus 15:6).
Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You. All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name.” Selah Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men. He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot. There we will rejoice in Him. He rules by His power forever; His eyes observe the nations; Do not let the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah (Psalm 66:3).
Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region( Luke 4:14).
May you encounter the power of the Highest to make you supernatural in the name of Jesus Christ.
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
