And said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 01 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord – The Healer’ – Praise the Lord
Welcome to the month of August.
This is the beginning of the month of August, and in this series we will be meditating on the word of God with the purpose of health and healing for our body.
The children have shortly crossed the Red Sea and their enemies have been defeated and they had a song of celebration. Here came a trouble of no clean water to drink and potential risk of drinking contaminated water. The manifestation of God as the ‘Jehovah Rapha’ – The Lord is The Healer was revealed to Moses and the people of Israel in the Wilderness of Shur.
This is the promise of the Lord:
And said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26).
Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth (Jeremiah 33:6).
It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones (Proverbs 3:8).
“Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord (2 Kings 20:5).
