by

devotional message for today 13th, march.

Scripture
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things ( Philippians 4:8, NKJV).

Explanation
The aspect of meditation has generated a lot of interests in the last years. Have you been practising mindfulness which is a basic style used by other people to focus on your mind? This mindfulness for sure has limitation, though may appear beneficial transiently to a few as it will make you relax but does not has the Power over your Human spirit a such. The object of focus of meditation should not be yourself or creation only but rather on God during Biblical Meditation. The human spirit takes control of body and it influences on the mind. The Human spirit is the gateway of many life issues and can control the mind. In the last 2 editions of our daily meditation, we discussed why you should guide your spirit diligently because out of it flow the issues of life. What do you meditate upon? The scripture in Philippians 4:8 enlightens you to meditate on whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

In addition, you are enlightened that you should also meditate on the Word of God (Psalms 119:148), The law of the Lord (Psalm 1:2), meditate on God (Psalms 63:6), meditate on all God’s work or Act (Psalms 77:12), the glorious Splendor of God’s majesty (Psalm 145:5), meditate on the names of God or meditate of Jesus Christ, and many more.
In 1 Timothy 4:15, Paul admonished Timothy to ‘meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.’

Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.

Confession
Thank you, Lord, for today. I am a child of You Father. In Your law I meditate day and night. Therefore, make me like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, my leaf also shall not wither; and whatever I do shall prosper in the name of Jesus. I am in good health as my soul prosper every day of my life. Glory be to God.
