Explanation:
This is day 15 of the 30 days of Divine Health and Healing challenge. If you are joining us for the first time, ensure that you study and meditate on the scriptures that we have discussed from the beginning.
Have you ever observed that in the World, it is a general acceptance that seeing is believing? Why this is acceptable way of life by many today, however this notion has its limitation. This is because Life is spiritual. The operation of Spiritual activities controls a significant proportion of our lives and spiritual dimension is completely different. The demonic kingdom for instance is responsible for many evils and wickedness that many people faced in life.
In today episode we will begin to examine the application of healings during Jesus’s Ministry while on Earth. This is necessary to provide understanding of different methods to Divine healings. If Jesus Christ thought His disciples and gave them Power to heal the sick these ways, then He has provided us with foundation of Divine Healings. It must be emphasized that though Jesus Christ is God, in His Ministry on Earth he ministered as the Son of Man.
What then caused Jesus Christ to do these works?
1.He was anointed by the Holy Ghost – He was dependent on the Holy Spirit. Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works (John 14:10). This is what makes Jesus Christ able to do these works. Jesus said that “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken heartedness, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. ”Then He closed the book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him (Luke 4:17-20, NKJV).
2.He was full of the fullness of God – And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace (John 1:16). And which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Ephesians 1:23). You must pray for the fullness of Christ to dwell in you.
2.The grace of God was upon Him – grace is the gift and undeserving favour or ability that God gives us. According to Luke 2:40, and Jesus Christ grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.
3.He was the Word of God and His Words are Spirit and Life – It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63, NKJV). It is very important to meditate on these and ask God to fill you the fullness of Christ – The Holy Ghost.
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
Confession:
The word of God is in my mouth. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, it is piercing even to the division of my soul and spirit, and of my joints and marrow, and is a discerner of my thoughts and intents of the heart.
I prosper in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. My body is healthy and strong. I refuse sickness, diseases, and evils of this world. I exercise my dominion over devil and the cohorts of darkness. From today I declare my victory and protection in the name of Jesus.
Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63, NKJV).
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.” (Matthew 8:16-17, NKJV).
