Biblical Meditation part 10: Meditate on the Words of God
by James
devotional message for today 14th, march.
Scripture
My eyes are awake through the night watches, that I may meditate on Your word. (Psalms 119:148 NKJV)
Explanation
In today Daily meditation, we shall be looking at Meditation on the Words of God. The Words of God from Genesis to revelation are given to us for a purpose as a believer. Personally, I have tested and proven that these words are active and powerful after they are meditated upon. It is not as the same as ready the Bible. Meditating on the Word is indispensable. As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him (Psalm 18:30, NKJV). Glory be to God. The word of God is God Himself. The word of God is powerful and infallible. Attend to the word, ponder over the word as you read or study the Bible, mediate upon it, confess it, and see the changes that you intended. Obedience to the words has generational benefits.
Observe and obey all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God (Deuteronomy 12:28, NKJV). Rebellion against the words of God has serious consequences. For instances, in Psalm 107:12, you see the consequence of disobedience is indescribable: ‘therefore He brought down their heart with labor; they fell, and there was none to help. That will not be your portion in the name of Jesus.
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
Confession
The word of God is in my mouth. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, it is piercing even to the division of my soul and spirit, and of my joints and marrow, and is a discerner of my thoughts and intents of the heart.
I prosper in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. My body is healthy and strong. I refuse sickness, diseases, and evils of this world. I exercise my dominion over devil and the cohorts of darkness. From today I declare my victory and protection in the name of Jesus.
