Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 03 of 30 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God of light’- The Creator (Elohim).
One of the most important creation is light. Not only does every plant depends on light for their existence, human existence depends on light. Yet God is the Creator of the Light so also He is Light in the essence. One of the mysteries about God is that He is Light and He is the Creator of light and He dwells in an unapproachable light. In the beginning, the Bible gave us the account of the creation as the Elohim commanded the Light to appeared in the mist of darkness.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day (Genesis 1: 3-5).
Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars (Genesis 1: 16).
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5).
May the ‘God of Light’ be your Light and salvation in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
