Day 25 of 31 days: ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ – Be delivered from wickedness

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually (Genesis 6:5).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 25 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ – Be delivered from wickedness .
The Lord Jesus Christ came to give us the gift of salvation and to have power and authority over every power of evil and the wickedness on this earth. He dismantled principality and powers, but to the surprise of many He did not completely remove evil and wickedness from the earth. Therefore, evil and wickedness are still prevailing over the lives of many who are ignorant of them and do nothing to come to Jesus for their redemption through the power of God.
Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually (Genesis 6:5).
An evil man devises wickedness on his bed; He sets himself in a way that is not good; He does not abhor evil (Psalm 36:4).
Ahab was a prototype of a wicked man who sold himself into doing evil and wickedness.
But there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the Lord, because Jezebel his wife stirred him up. 26 And he behaved very abominably in following idols, according to all that the Amorites had done, whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel (1 Kings 21: 25-26).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ be your God in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
