Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 23 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ – Deliverance from the strong man.
As we looked at deliverance from bondage, it is important to know and get acquittance with the household enemy behind such evil occurrences called the Strong man. Many of these demonic atrocities are caused by such demonic spirit called the Strong man. Jesus taught that the Strong man has its own house and goods and he must be first bind before the goods and house are plundered from him. Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease.
Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad (Matthew 12:29).
And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house (Mark 3:26-27).
May the ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ be your God in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
