Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 30 of 30 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of Glory’ – Thanksgiving.
Throughout the month we have been looking at the glory of God and with the lens of the scriptures. Thank God that we have been transformed from glory to glory as by the Spirit of the Lord. The glory of the Lord is very essential for our walk with God and successfully living on the earth. Jesus Christ manifested the glory of the Lord and He expected us to be basking in the same glory that He received from the Lord.
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14).
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope (Psalm 16:9).
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Lift up your heads, O you gates! and be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah (Psalm 24:7-10).
