Daily Meditation, day 27 of 30 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of Glory’ – Higher life by Faith
God’s desire is that by faith we live and walk in the spirit just like Him. Our earthly body wants to dwell in the flesh but we must do whatever it takes to possess whatever God has prepared for us from the foundation of this earth. By virtue of the new covenant, we are now called the children of the Most High God. As son, we should act like our Heavenly Father.
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’(Isaiah 58:8-9).
Lift up your heads, O you gates! and be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah (Psalm 24:7-10).
