Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 25 of 30 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of Glory’ – Lord show me Your glory.
Moses as a Prophet of God asked for the grace in the sight of God and God promised that the presence of the Lord to go with him. However, He asked to see the glory of the Lord. It is interesting that He did not ask for material things. We have learn from the scriptures many of people of God who have seen and experienced the presence of the glory of the Lord. This is a natural human response to an encounter with the glory of God. The glory of God radiates such light upon you so that you can shine to your World. Thanks be to God for sending Our Lord Jesus Christ to come and restore that which was lost.
So the Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name. “and he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” (Exodus 33:17-18).
Lift up your heads, O you gates! and be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah (Psalm 24:7-10).
