Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 24 of 30 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of Glory’ – The glory of the Lord filled the house.
We have learn from the scriptures many of people of God who have seen and experienced the presence of the glory of the Lord. This is a natural human response to an encounter with the glory of God. The glory of God radiates such light upon you so that you can shine to your World. Thanks be to God for sending Our Lord Jesus Christ to come and restore that which was lost.
Indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying:
“For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. (2 Chronicles 5: 13-14).
Lift up your heads, O you gates! and be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah (Psalm 24:7-10).
