The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts” (Haggai 2:9)

Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 20 of 30 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of Glory’ – The former and the latter glory.
Even as Christians, how often do we settle with the old new wine, despite knowing that there no limit with God’s grace, anointing or His glory? There is a former and a latter glory, and the latter should be greater than former. The latter glory of a man is an essential virtue required for success and fulfilment in life. I often see more of the Ministry of the Word than the Ministry of the Spirit in many churches. Could it be people’s complacency and same style of our doctrines causing a limitation to give the Spirit of God to do whatever He wants to do perhaps? Thanks be to God for sending Our Lord Jesus Christ to come and restore that which was lost at the Garden of Eden.
“For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land;  and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts.  ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts.  ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts”( Haggai 2:6-9).
“On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, and repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old; That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” Says the Lord who does this thing (Amos 9:11-12).
Further Scriptures:
Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love (2 John 1:3).
