For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 21 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord – The Healer’ – The laws of the Spirit and your health.
Just as we have Physical laws on the earth such as the law of gravity likewise we have the Laws of the Spirit of life. The law of sins and death exists and has been linked with the works of darkness. It means there is a death penalty for anyone caught by the enemy for sinful nature.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh (Romans 8:2-3).
But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the Lord God of Israel with all his heart; for he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam, who had made Israel sin (2 Kings 10:31).
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people (Hebrews 8:10).
Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them (Acts 19:11).
