Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 13 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord – The Healer’ – The Fire of God for healings.
The Fire of God didn’t start at Pentecost but was well known as an instrument of God. For instance Fire came upon Sodom and Gomorrah. Jesus Christ taught and instructed His disciples to use not only His Names to heal the sick but they were taught that Jesus would baptise with Holy Spirit and Fire.
The Holy Spirit and Fire are pivot in the Ministry of Jesus Christ especially for Healings and to cast out demons in His name. His disciples received the Power and went everywhere healings the sick.
And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit [a]and fire. 12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire (Matthew 3:10 – 12)
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; hey will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover” (Mark 16:17-18).
