That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:17).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 11 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord – The Healer’ – Jesus Christ took our infirmity and diseases
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is our True Messiah and not only did he died for us and raise us up but He took her diseases away. In his presence every element of darkness must obey and go. He fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah the Prophet. Likewise I pray that your diseases are taken and by His stripes you are healed.
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.” (Matthew 8:16 – 17).
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:8).
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage (Hebrews 2:14-15).
