Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 09 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord – The Healer’ – The power in the blood of Jesus.
The Bible explains the significance of the blood of Jesus to us especially if you are in Christ. The blood of Jesus Christ does not only redeem us from sins and death but has the power of victory over enemy of darkness. The blood of Jesus brings health and healings to our body, soul and spirit. Jesus Christ died for us and took our sins upon Himself.
That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world (Ephesian 2:12).
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Revelation 12:11).
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage (Hebrews 2:14-15).
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:8-10).
