Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 08 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord – The Healer’ – Christ was raised from the dead.
The Bible explains the significance of the dead, burial, resurrection and ascension of Christ to us who are believers. Jesus Christ died for us and took our sins upon Himself. The essence of Christ being raised from the dead was explained on several times in the Bible especially for us to be able to walk in new life free of corruption and a life of immortality. God is a good God, a Chief Architect and planner so we can be a new creation.
Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).
Who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification (Romans 4:25).
And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses (Colossians 2:13).
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:8-10).
