Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 16 of 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘’The Lord – My Helper’ – The performance of His word.
The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirits help us by ensuring the performance of His word according to the will of God.
I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me (Psalm 57:2)
Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this (Isaiah 9:7).
Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say, “I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks” (Isaiah 10:12).
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:26-27).
“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me (John 15:26).
