Day 09 of 31 days: ‘The Lord – My Helper’– By His Anointing

“You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to Me as priests; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations” (Exodus 40:15).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 09 of 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘’The Lord – My Helper’ – By His Anointing.
The Holy Spirit gives the anointing to be able to do the works of the Lord as He does all the working of the Lord. A man that carries the anointing of God can do anything that the Holy Spirit is willing to accomplish. There are several functions of the anointing and may include priesthood, healings and deliverance and many more.
“You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to Me as priests; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations” (Exodus 40:15).
It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil (Isaiah 10:27).
Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).
He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young (Isaiah 40:11).
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want, He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake (Psalm 23:1-3).
“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me (John 15:26).
Show me a sign for good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me (Psalm 86:17).
Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you (John 16:7).
