Prayer of supplication is another form of prayers and must be master. Supplication goes beyond a simple request but it I by deeply acknowledging your personal inadequacy and a faithful dependence on divine grace and intervention.

There are different prayers and each may be appropriate for the reason for praying. We have a God that wants us to pray so He may answer our prayers. He does hear every prayers but He may sometimes decides if this is under His will to do it immediately or not.

Psalmist cry to God saying that:

The Lord has heard my supplication; The Lord will receive my prayer (Psalm 6:9).

Whatever prayer, whatever supplication is made by anyone, or by all Your people Israel, when each one knows the plague of his own heart, and spreads out his hands toward this temple: 39 then hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to everyone according to all his ways, whose heart You know (for You alone know the hearts of all the sons of men), 40 that they may fear You all the days that they live in the land which You gave to our fathers (1 King’s 8:38-40).

At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes (Matthew 11:25).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 08 of 30 days of the month of June we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God that answers prayer’ – Praying always with all prayer.

It is not good to pray but you must grow to gain the knowledge of praying always with all prayer. There are different prayers and each may be appropriate for the reason for praying. You cannot use prayer of supplication in the place of warfare or taking authority such as Exousia. We have a God that wants us to pray so He may answer our prayers. He does hear every prayers but He may sometimes decides if this is under His will to do it immediately or not.

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1).

In today Daily Meditation, we will be looking at the Anointing of the Lord and being Anointed with understanding. In this current world, understanding is very essential after wisdom. We cannot afford to be ignorant of the Word of God and His will for our lives. There are several men in the Bible who had understanding. Understanding can be for a particular reason.

Example of such men is Zechariah, Daniel and Bezalel.

He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper (2 Chronicles 26:5).

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).

And Moses said to the children of Israel, “See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; and He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and understanding, in knowledge and all manner of workmanship (Exodus 35:30-31).

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding (Proverbs 2:6).

The Anointing is by the Spirit of the Lord. The oil is a symbol of the anointing.

It was the Spirit of the Lord that came upon Saul and enabled him to prophesy with the Prophets.

Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man (1 Samuel 10:6).

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives

and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are [j]oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18 -19).

Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region( Luke 4:14).

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing, to declare that the Lord is upright;

He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him (Psalm 92: 12-15).

For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: “This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision;

The God of Heavens and His Dunamis are essential in our walk with Jesus Christ. His power in the blood of Jesus Christ brought the new covenant and victory over Satan and his darkness.

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8).

And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” (Mark 5:30).
